There is a lot of definitions of yoga from different authors. According to Katha Upanishad, yoga is holding the senses steady where the mind is at rest and senses are stilled. This can be achieved when our mind, body, and energy are unified.

When we practicing yoga consistently in a long run, we can slowly improve our well-being in the physicalmentalsocial, and spiritual aspects, and not merely an absence of disease or infirmity; i.e. being in state of health as defined by World Health Organization (WHO).

At Charm Element, we understand that everybody is different, in term of size, strength, flexibility and etc. By understanding the human body in the field of Anatomy and Physiology, we understand how our body works and how does everyone has different bodies. For instant, we never force ourselves or students to perform any asana (yoga pose) that beyond our body ability or flexibility. However, yoga is not just about flexibility, it is more about being in a state of health by balancing and unify our mind, body, and energy.
