At Charm Element, we welcome practices that bring people together through mindful movement and shared experience. AcroYoga i.e. Partner Yoga, guided by Skylar, offers a unique way to explore connection and strength through collaborative practice.
Skylar is a certified AcroYoga instructor and dance movement therapist who brings a trauma-informed approach to movement. Her sessions help individuals rediscover the joy of moving together, creating a space where movement becomes a pathway for fitness as well as connection.
What is AcroYoga?
AcroYoga combines elements of yoga, acrobatics, and connection practices. Participants work in pairs or small groups to explore partner balances, supported poses, and flowing sequences that develop strength, coordination, and communication.
In the practice, one partner may act as the base, providing stability, while the other becomes the flyer, finding balance and flow. Through these shared movements, participants learn how to trust, communicate, and support one another in a safe and playful environment, while getting fit together.
No prior experience is required. Beginners are guided step by step through simple movements that gradually build confidence and body awareness.
A Practice of Connection
AcroYoga is not only about physical strength—it is also about connection. Moving with another person encourages trust, presence, and cooperation.
Skylar’s teaching emphasizes creating a supportive environment where participants can explore movement safely while enjoying the playfulness and creativity that partner yoga naturally brings.
Many participants find that the practice strengthens not only the body but also their ability to communicate, collaborate, and stay present in the moment.
An Invitation to Move Together
AcroYoga offers a joyful way to explore movement, trust, and connection. Whether you come with a partner, a friend, or a small group, this practice invites you to experience the beauty of supporting and being supported through movement.
We look forward to welcoming you to this playful and enriching partner practice with Skylar.
